The SRA-E Iberian Chapter was established in Lisbon in 2017, during the SRA-Europe 26th conference, with the objective of promoting risk research, knowledge, and understanding of risk analysis techniques within the Iberian countries - Spain, Portugal, and Andorra - and each of these countries autonomous regions.

The first meeting and general assembly of the chapter were held in September 2018 in Toledo (Spain), followed by Coimbra, Portugal, on September 5-6, 2019. The SRA-E Iberian Chapter meeting proceedings can now be found here.

Workshops: On October 6th to 8th, the Iberian Chapter of the Society for Risk Analysis (SRA-E Iberian Chapter) has scheduled three interesting workshops: (1) Bayesian network modelling, (2) impact of COVID-19 for organisations and work-life balance; and (3) use of social sensing methodology for monitoring crises and social emergencies. The 3rd Society for Risk Analysis - Europe Iberian Chapter conference will be held at the Universidad de Alicante in Alicante, Spain, on September 2022. Poster presentations will be accepted. The call will be out in early 2022.
