The Society for Risk Analysis-Europe (SRA-E) is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. We've structured our websites so that, in general, you can visit us on the Web without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information.

Data Collection

SRA-E only collects personally identifiable data such as your name and email address when you voluntarily submit it to SRA-E. No other personal information is collected (address, credit/debit card information, telephone number, etc). This information may be used by personnel of SRA-E as a means to contact you and provide you with information that you have requested or additional information that SRA-E believes may be of interest to you, in the form of newsltetters or email contacts.

The data will not be transferred to a third party outside of SRA-E without your prior consent, but may be used within SRA-E, SRA International or by a company acting as an agent of SRA-E or SRA International, for secretariat and mailing purposes.

While SRA-E makes every reasonable effort to protect the information collected through its websites, please be aware that there is always some risk involved when submitting data over the Internet. Although our server hosting service has protection agains such risks, we cannot guarantee that our website is safe from illegal tampering or "hacking."

Any data transmitted over the Internet may be at risk; however, once it is received at SRA-E and entered into its database, it has the same protection that SRA-E extends to its own confidential information.

We track the total number of visitors to our website, the number of visitors to each page of the website, and the domain names of our visitors' Internet service providers, through Google Analytics. No personally identifiable information is gathered in this process.

Updating Your Information

Our website is not intended or designed to attract children under the age of 18. We do not collect personal information from any person we actually know is under the age of 18.

The security of users’ personal information is important to us.
