Uncertainties and Opportunities for Risk Analysis in the Nordic Region
Conference of the Society for Risk Analysis Europe, Nordic Chapter (SRA-E Nordic) and IDA Risk
The world is marked by accelerating climate change and striking technological disruptions. The demand for risk science and risk analysis has never been more salient. This SRA-Europe Nordic chapter brings together risk researchers and practitioners to explore approaches in risk analysis in the Nordic, Baltic and Arctic context, focusing on the interplay between perception, analysis, and strategic uncertainties and opportunities arising from the transitions experienced in the Nordic region. We aim to foster a dynamic forum where participants can learn, discuss, and exchange ideas related to our field. By convening aspiring, established and leading researchers, we bring the risk community together in Copenhagen, engendering fruitful debate, ideas and relationships.
Conference dates 4th to the 5th of November 2025
Venue: IDA - The Danish Society of Engineers, Kalvebod Brygge 31-33, DK-1780 Copenhagen
