Jacob Taarup-Esbensen from the University College Copenhagen (KP) is hosting the next SRA-E Nordic conference in Copenhagen in 2025.
Conference theme: Nordics and the Arctic in Transition - Uncertainties and Opportunities for Risk Analysis
The world is marked by seismic shifts in geopolitics, accelerating climate change, and striking technological disruptions. The demand for risk science and risk analysis has never been more salient. The SRA-Europe Nordic chapter brings together risk researchers and practitioners to explore approaches in risk analysis in the Nordic, Baltic and Arctic context, focusing on the interplay between perception, analysis, and strategic uncertainties and opportunities arising from the transition experienced in the region. We aim to foster a dynamic forum where participants can learn, discuss, and exchange ideas related to our field. By convening aspiring, established, and leading researchers, we bring the risk community together in Copenhagen, engendering fruitful debate, ideas, and relationships.
Save the date: November 4-5, 2025, Copenhagen
Venue: IDA - The Danish Society of Engineers, Kalvebod Brygge 31-33, DK-1780 Copenhagen
